The Board of Trustees is the key decision making body of the Foundation and drives the Foundation towards achieving its set goals and objectives.

The Inoyo Toro Foundation is blessed with dedicated volunteers who have given their time and expertise in assuring that the Foundation fulfills its mission. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees who provide the strategic vision for the organization.

The current members of the Board of Trustees are:

Ntekpe E. Inoyo (Chairperson)

Ntekpe Inoyo is the MD & CEO of Toro Group of Companies. She is a highly accomplished visionary executive with proven successes in motivational leadership, fiscal oversight and strategic planning.She holds a Master of Business Administration, University of New Orleans (1999), with concentration in International Business and Finance and has also completed the Owner’s Management Program (OMP 38) Certificate, Harvard Business School (2009).

Additionally, she is a member of the Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria (HBSAN) and Logistics Society of Nigeria (LSN).Ntekpe’s over twenty-five (25) years’ experience has been in the area of finance, business administration, and corporate governance. Her companies, engage in Supply chain management, dredging and marine related services.She is member of the governing council of Obong University, Akwa Ibom state and also engages in other religious and charity activities.

Mr. Usen Udoh

Mr. Usen Udoh is a Senior Director in Accenture, the leading professional Services firm in the world, where he wears several hats heading the Telecoms practice, the Public Sector practice and the Management Consulting workforce.He holds a Bsc. Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin, an MBA from the Leicester School of Management and is an Alumni of the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.Along with his Boardroom relevant experience, Usen has extensive leadership, enterprise transformational and project management skills. Over 20 years of strong organizational work experience across industry groups and geographies leading the design, deliver and operation of industry leading innovative products.With a proven ability to cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with stakeholders, he consistently executes high pressure projects building highly motivated teams of professionals in the course of his project execution. Usen is an avid community builder.

Dr. George Akpan

George Akpan is a lawyer. He obtained his first degree from the University of Uyo. He further obtained postgraduate certificates from the University of Lagos, LLM; Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, LL.M; National University of Singapore, PhD.He has worked as a University teacher in various universities including the University of Uyo, University of West Indies, Bahamas, United Nations University, Japan and the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.George has a passion for contributing to the improvement in the standard of education as he believes that quality education is the bedrock for the development of any society.

Mrs. Uto Ukpanah

Mrs. Uto Ukpanah is the Company Secretary of MTN Nigeria Communications Limited. In her current role, she is responsible for Ethics and Corporate Governance in the Company.She obtained LLB from the University of Uyo and holds a Certification in Organisational Ethics Management from Bentley University. From private legal practice, she became the Assistant Company Secretary of United Bank for Africa Plc. and was responsible for monitoring the Bank’s Global Depository Receipt Programme (GDR), the first of its kind by any Nigerian Company at the time.She has spoken and participated at local and international conferences; is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association and Steering Committee Member, United Nations Global Compact (Nigeria Network).Mrs. Ukpanah is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Obong University (the first private University in Akwa Ibom). In addition, she devotes time to Women and Youth Empowerment initiatives.

Mrs. Lydia Gordon Nkan

Mrs. Lydia Nkan is a retired Vice Principal (Administration), Etinan Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Etinan and Coordinator of Programs, Legon Ventures, Etinan.She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Port Harcourt. She also serves as a member of the Foundation’s screening committee.

Mr. Richard Esin

Richard is an Executive Director with Eartholeum Networks Ltd., a mobile money company. He also offers consulting service on; e-Commerce and m-Commerce to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and cyber security through Global Cyber Security Associates (GCA) where he is a partner.His previous roles include; Group Head, E-Business (First City Monument Bank Plc.),  Group Head – E-Business and Card Services (Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.), Group Head, E-Products & Marketing  (First Inland Bank Plc.), and Branch Head of Operations (UBA).He holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Accounting, an MBA and an MSC from the London School of Economics, London. He is an ex-director of Interswitch Ltd and Valucard Nigeria Plc. respectively.  Richard Esin currently sits on the board of Lantana Homes and Property Ltd.

Architect Ime Ekpo

Architect Ime Ekpo is a retired Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Renewal, Akwa Ibom State. He holds a Master of Science degree in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. A Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Arc Ime Ekpo is a three-time recipient of the Merit Award from the Akwa Ibom State Government.
