Arc. Ime Okon Ekpo, is the Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning. An accomplished professional and career civil servant, Ekpo, a native of Nsit Ubium LGA was born on 10th August, 1956.

Ekpo, is a retired Director from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Renewal, who holds a Master of Science degree in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. An old boy of Hope Waddell Training Institute, Calabar, Cross River State, he is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects.

While serving as a director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Renewal, Ekpo’s dynamism was brought to bear in the many projects the ministry executed. His dexterity and dedication earned him recognition as a three-time recipient of Merit Award for Hardworking Civil Servants by the state government.kpo is bringing into the state Executive Council a wide experience gathered while working through the ranks and file of the state service.

Presently, the General Overseer of God’s Own Ministry Int’l, Uyo, Ekpo is married with children.
