Story
His Excellency, Governor Udom G. Emmanuel was on hand to grace the 8th edition of the Annual Teachers Award for Excellence which took place at the Le Meridien Hotel & Golf Resort, Uyo, as Guest Speaker. Chairman on the occasion was Mr. Kayode Komolafe, Deputy Managing Director of Thisday Newspaper Group.
18 Teachers received Awards at the event. 5 Teachers were honoured with Grand Mentors’ Awards on the occasion with 40 mentors, 240 students are now being mentored.
Mr. Idorenyin Mbang, Programme Co-ordinator for the Foundation from inception, formally stepped down at the year’s event. He was showered with encomiums and presented with an award for excellence in service by the Foundation.
